> Subject: Olympic show!!
>
>
> Dear Sir or Madame,
>
> I am writing to congratulate you and your citizens for putting on what I
> thought
> was a grand Olympics.
> Your creativity and visual effects were the likes of which I had never seen
> before.
> I am equally proud of the achievements of our Canadian Athletes in relation
> to the
> support our government provides to them.
> I can tell your country put great deal of thought into providing the world a
> wonderful
> opportunity to view your way of life. Having said that I was saddened to see
> that two
> elderly women are to be reeducated in labour camps for coming forward to ask
> your government
> to conduct a protest. It is my opinion that you are risking all the hard
> work you put into
> creating a great Olympics by following through on the decision to place
> these seniors into
> prison. A great majority of us in the Western world hold seniors in high
> regard and won't under-
> stand your logic. I respect your country's sovereignty and to run your
> country in the manner
> you feel is best, but I implore you to reconsider your decision and not to
> place these
> Grandmothers in prison.
>
> Once again, congratulations on the success of the Beijing Olympics!
>
> Respectfully,

LP

The IOC is all about the $$$$. It doesn't care about human rights or population displacement or people being arrested. The only things that matter are the events go smoothly, and the games make money for Rogge and his merry group of bag-men.
