Merry Christmas Harvey!!!! Thank you for helping your readers to Keep IT Real.
2020 will look much better in the rear view mirror.

(Response: Thanks. Same to you and yours. As bad as 2020 was here, we still did much better than most other places! 🙂 )

Have a good and safe Christmas and a covid free New Year!

Stay safe, stay healthy, everyone, please.

(Response: Same to you. Looking forward to lots to write about and discuss in 2021. h.o)

All the best to you and your family Harvey. I don’t always comment but I’m a regular reader and enjoy your work.

(Response: Thanks Tim. I wish more readers of course would comment: it’s quite a unique opportunity to DIRECTLY reach those in power in politics, government, business and the media. A report I just received yesterday from a firm that these sources pay to monitor sites told me the numbers looking at KIR are highest ever! 🙂 Blog views and comments are clearly being noted! But I know most just enjoy reading it all … and I am humbled that they do! Merry Christmas and Happy 2021. h.o)

    Hello Harvey,

    Enjoy your break !!

Thank you for all of your hard work over the past most difficult year, we all appreciate everything you do !

Of course I am not familiar with all of the Blogs but I must make the point that you are fair and balanced far beyond others I have seen and that is important beyond words, thank you !

A very Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a Happy New Year to you and yours !

The same to everyone else that contributes or lurks on Keeping It Real, we should all recognize what opportunities Harvey provides us with !

Stay Healthy, Safe, and be Happy each and every one of you !

God Bless you and your Wife Harry !! I salute both of you !

(Response: All the best for the holidays. No doubt 2021 will be an “interesting” year too! 🙂 h.o)

  5. Gilbert says:

Harvey, thank you for all your hard work. I’ve learned a lot from your blog. Merry Christmas and happy new year to you and everyone on this blog!

(Response: Thank you. I’ve learned a lot too! And have had a lot of fun. h.o)

  6. Keith says:

Many thanks for another great year of issues Harvey, put the feet up and enjoy the season.

It’s hard to say if our collective opinions resonate with the politicians, but a few days after this post.

    J. Horgan was forcefully stating the provincial covid rules and the ensuing enforcement, (which is quite another thing) and today M. Farnworth was doing the same.

Merry Christmas to one and all, a healthy and happier new year and thankfully 2020 has just a few more days to go.

(Response: Thanks. I also noticed they finally started handing out tickets to the organizers of those mass gatherings/protests who apparently thought the rules don’t apply to them. I still say it: the government can’t expect THE PEOPLE to disrupt our lives and obey Health Orders … if the ELITES are given free passes to violate those same Orders!! We ARE watching! h.o)

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Enjoy the time off and stay safe.
No matter what people say about 2020, you and I along with a number of others in this country got through it alive and for that I am thankful. Now we can all stay home quietly, order in our groceries, wear our masks and watch old movies.
Harvey, thank you for the service you provided us in 2020. We may have had COVID, there wasn’t much on t.v., but you kept us interested and entertained. thank you and that goes for those who commented on this blog also. Agree with you or not, I had fun and you all made the year go better, so Happy New Year and Merry Christmas.

(Response: Thanks. It has been a very hectic year. And kind of proud of what this “hobby” has accomplished, some of it better than the big bucks working media! Keeping it Real … in the midst of MANY doubters, mockers and dismissive comments, was among the very first to point out Horgan/Trudeau were maneuvering towards early elections; exposed MONTHS ahead of others how so many elderly and handicapped were being hurt and discriminated against by the Park Board’s blockading of its parking lots and Stanley Park road closures; were almost alone among media to speak up and demand organizers of huge protests/gatherings be ticketed/charged, not given a free pass, if Horgan, Dix, Henry expect the rest of us to obey Health Orders; feel pretty good that my REAL tribute to BCTV’s 60th Anniversary, and those who built it’s success, was MUCH better than Global’s tribute, mostly to BC history (LOL!); and, KIR was the ONLY media forum to call for the NHL to adopt a true Canada vs US hockey INTERNATIONAL playoffs system … and it’s now HAPPENING! Bring on the Harvey Cup!!! Not bad …for a blog and just a hobby. h.o)

Thank you Harvey for the opportunity to comment on your blog. I’m a long time reader but infrequent commenter, a little more lately.
Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas and all the best for the new year.
It looks like we might finally be turning that corner someone, somewhere kept mentioning. Hope for the best.

(Response: Thanks. I hope many more readers make a New Year’s resolution to join the “regulars” and add to the conversations on the various topics we tackle on here: it’s good for our democracy… and lets those in power know what you’re thinking. 🙂 Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! h.o.)
