Blog Takes a Holiday Break…

December 7th, 2012 · 11 Comments

It’s December … how fast the year went!  And 2013 promises to be even more fascinating for news and political junkies.

But first, time to charge the batteries, travel, spend time with family and friends …  and just have some holiday fun.

Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah and a Joyous Kwaanza .. or whatever reason you use to enjoy the season!

Back in early January.

Merry Christmas to you, Harv. You’ll be missed — but thankfully, not every blogger has the good sense to take a break!

I hope your ‘batteries’ will be fully charged for the year coming because ‘keeping it real’ will be challenging with the provincial election coming.

May you have a great Christmas and New Year Harvey. Get lots of rest and eat a ton of good food, you will need it to help us ” Keep it Real ” in the new year.

I sure hope that Santa is good to you. Merry Christmas and Happy New Years.
But what if Santa crosses a picket line?
Is Santa a Liberal? Has the SPCA reported on his sled pullers? What does Santa do about bike lanes?

    Haste Ye Back (Gaelic Traditional)

Haste ye back, we loue you dearly,
    Call again you’re welcome here.
May your days be free from sorrow,
And your friends be ever near.

May the paths o’er which you wander,
Be to you a joy each day.
Haste ye back we loue you dearly,
Haste ye back on friendship’s way.

Happy Hogmanay to you ‘n’ yours.

One of the most glorious messes in the world is the mess created in the living room on Christmas day. Don’t clean it up too quickly.

And a Merry Christmas to all!
