Blog Takes Pre-election Travel Break: Back for the Campaign April 5

March 10th, 2017 · 5 Comments

Time for travel … again.  I LOVE retirement!

The Blog is taking a break before going FULL FOCUS starting April 5 on the  May 9 BC Election campaign.

That should be REALLY interesting …  the voice of the people WILL be heard on a whole series of election topics: should get a good democratic discussion going!

Comments on previous topics will be open until Weds March 15 … then comments section will be shut down while I travel.

Well Harvey, you take care and depending where you go, have someone taste your food and beverages before you indulge; you rabble rouser, you.

Looking forward to your FULL FOCUS.

Following the many blogs I see not only a new and growing discontent with the local status quo but a sign that more people might just be engaged this time.

Will it be enough to make a significant difference? I don’t know.

Be safe, stay well, have fun.

(Response: Nothing I write or others say on here will affect the dedicated, partisan types ..BUT the key to victory in BC elections are those in the middle, willing to vote Liberal or NDP, depending on issues, promises, scandals, campaign…. and there are LOTS of those who read/follow this blog ..even if they don’t often write in. h.o)

    Enjoy the vacation Harvey!
    You have earned it.
Hopefully the Blog can get back on track and on topic upon your return.
Feel bad that you have to constantly balance the need to stay topical with the risk of being chastised every time you enforce the rules.
    Cheers,

(Response: Thanks. Glad you understand the challenge. h.o)

Have a great vacation. I just knew this was going to happen, my computer finally was working fine again.

You must need the break, writing, reading, keeping us all on topic and track. We understand the need to leave town, the snow hasn’t. Enjoy the sun, we can only hope the snow is gone upon your return. You work hard in your retirement as do many other bloggers here in B.C. Have a good time and return safe and sound.

(Response: Thanks. Will be rested and ready for the election discussions when I return! Should be an “active” debate! h.o)

Thank you for all of your hard work and effort with this Blog Harvey.

As mentioned before I feel very strongly that you provide a very important “Public Service” which benefits man many people.

Quite often I am of the opinion that information, argument, discussion, and debate on this Blog offers more than Local or National News Casts and NW or other Talk Radio.

I am well aware that unlike some of your Perfect Posters that that offer only three or four word Criticisms of BMCQ and nothing else I can be a bit wordy so I also must point out that I very much appreciate your patience.

Enjoy your Break and get well rested for the upcoming Election Campaign!

(Response: Thanks. Should be really interesting discussions about the election after the break! h.o)
