Patrick Bell (NOT the MLA),
Try not to get so dismayed, after all that is what the whores holding office are hoping for. Apathy. It gives them the freedom to do what they want. You have to keep participating in elections and the process there after. In regards to corporations: vote via your pocket book.

Harv. How many times while reporting live did you want to use that phrase "kicked ass!?" ha ha...

I too was absorbed by the Lions?Nucks action and a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon. I missed everything that night regarding the civic elections.

I am so dismayed by the current uttering of corporation bailout that I have almost succumbed to the idea of why elect government when corporations run countries...

Wow! Did you check out CTV's maps they had on their website - very slick looking, though the results didn't show up quickly, it sure looked great.

You hit the nail on the head here, Harv.

Another embarrassment was The Province newspaper's coverage of the civic election. Below is a brief e-mail we sent to the editor this morning. We'll see if it gets published...

Once again, you've proven that the rest of BC isn't worth the effort when it comes to reporting province-wide matters.

Take Sunday's "B.C. EDITION" of The Province for example. "Voting results from around B.C." (A10), only covered the Lower Mainland, part of the Okanagan and select municipalities on Vancouver Island.

What about the other 130 or so cities and towns around the province? Do they not matter?

Let me remind you that you do have readers (and subscribers) outside the Lower Mainland. Not to mention the fact that your name is "The Province".
